2015: Redshirted.

High School: Played at Pattonville High School. Brenden finished his senior season with an 8-0 record and a 1.52 ERA while striking out 68 batters in 50.2 innings on his way to earning All-Conference.

Shaef started to come on towards the end of the fall.  At this point we need to see some consistency and need to see him continue to show improvement. Coming out of high school we saw a guy who could be a dominant lefty in our league, we need him to get back to that point and continue to learn as he does so.
