Coach Whaley is in his second season serving as the pitching coach and overseeing the Saints Strength and Conditioning program. In his first season on staff, the Saints pitching staff finished 2nd in the GLVC in Earned Run Average, 2nd in strikeouts. The staff set team records in Innings Pitched and strikeouts. Saints pitcher Jacob Kroeger earned ABCA All-American honors, led all of NCAA Division II in strikeouts, and was selected in the 10th Round of the MLB Amateur Draft. Whaley has played three season professionally with the Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League. In college, he pitched for Murray State University. Whaley is a native of St. Charles, Missouri.
