Maryville University Athletics

2015:  Lead the team with a 2.43 ERA in 16 appearances all our of the bullpen… picked up three saves and two wins on the year…opponents hit .222 as he finished the year in the top five for single season for the Saints in appearances and saves…2/13 pitched 1.2 innings with three strikeouts in a 9-4 win over Trevecca Nazarene and picked up a save the next day as the saints took two of three games against #27 TNU…4/1 pitched 1.2 inning in a 9-6 victory over UMSL… 4/19 threw season high four innings allowing only two hits while striking out two in a 3-2 victory over William Jewell.

2014: Appeared in 10 games and finished the season with a 3.45 ERA.  Pitched in 15.2 innings recording nine strikeouts.  Threw 1.2 innings of shutout baseball against St. Joes while recording 3 strikeouts.

Prior to Maryville: Transferred to Maryville from Maple Woods Community College and was led by Head Coach Marty Kilgore ... finished his last year for the Monarchs with a 1-0 record and one complete game in 17 innings of work.

Bondsy is Mr. Reliable when it comes to our staff.  You know what you are getting everytime he takes the mound.  We trust him in just about every situation.  He has always pitched with savvy and he pitches like a senior should. If it is an important time in the game Josh Bonds is going to be on the mound.
