2017: Played in 27 games while starting in 25 contests... Batted .276 with 16 runs batted in... Had six doubles, a triple , and two home runs on the year... Drew 12 walks in 76 at bats.

2016: Played at Jefferson Community College under head coach Pat Evers. Finished the season

“ Matt is a senior leader for the team. He is has taken the weight room very seriously this fall and the hard work is paying off. He battled injuries last year, but is finally healthy and it shows with his bat speed and power. He is going to battle for the DH job this spring.
