2016: Played at Parkway West High School for head coach Tony McNabb. Finished the year throwing 45 innings while striking out 42 hitters.

Matt had some back issues before arriving at Maryville and that have altered his progress. Right now we want to get him healthy and see where we go from there. He is anxious to get going but this injury is going to take some time.
