2018: Appeared in 14 games as a relief pitcher
          Ended the season with a 1-0 record with a 2.45 ERA
          Threw 14.2 innings with seven strikeouts

2017: Appeared in 13 games out of the bullpen
          Finished the year with an 0-1 record and a 6.17 ERA
          Tossed 11.2 innings six strikeouts.

2016:  Redshirted

High School: Danker comes to Maryville after his senior year at North Fayette Valley while playing under head coach Dan Hovden.  After earning second-team All-Conference and District as a junior he followed that up with First Team honors in each as a senior. He has been selected to play in the Iowa High School Senior All Star series. Sam finished his senior year striking out 75 batters in 40 1/3 innings, while opponents batted .126 against him.  Offensively he hit .283 with three home runs and 37 RBI. His team won the Upper Iowa Conference and went to the district semifinals.
