Ryan Hart enters his second season as assistant coach for men's basketball at Maryville University.
Hart comes to Maryville from Eastern Kentucky University, an NCAA Division I institution, where he served as the Director of Basketball Operations for the past two seasons. He was ranked No. 15 in the nation among Director of Basketball Operations in the 2009 The College Bound Hoops rankings. The Colonels ranked in the top ten among NCAA Division I programs in three categories: three-point field goals made per game (2nd, 10.0), assist-to-turnover ratio (2nd, +1.63) and fewest turnovers per game (3rd, 9.6). EKU also set a McBrayer Arena record with 19 consecutive home victories, the sixth longest streak in the nation and the program record for home wins (15) and regular season victories (20).
He previously served as a graduate assistant at Drake University, also a Division I school, for two seasons.
Hart earned a Master's Degree in Public Administration: Executive Development from Drake and his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Midland Lutheran College.
