Blake Neal

Blake Neal was named an assistant coach for the inaugural Saints lacross season in 2017. He will be the defensive coordinator and clearing game coordinator for the Saints.

Neal, who hails from Greensboro, N.C., was a standout student-athlete at Catawba College. He comes to Maryville after serving in Operation Inherent Resolve with the United States Navy. Neal currently serves as the director for ARCH Lacrosse, the largest youth lacrosse organization in the St. Louis Area. He brings with him over 18 years of lacrosse playing experience, including two years on the prestigious Navy Gold Lacrosse Club, as well as currently playing minor pro box lacrosse for the St. Louis Centurions.
 
As a player at Catawba College, Neal helped led the Indians to two top-10 rational rankings in 2011 and 2012, while leading a defense that won consecutive South Atlantic Conference Championships. Before graduating from Catawba, Neal enlisted in the U.S. Navy after contracting into Naval Special Warfare.  While in the Navy, he served in many capacities, including in the Special Warfare recruiting directorate, and conducting airstrikes during Operation Inherent Resolve.
