Morgan Locher joined the Maryville staff as assistant athletic trainer in August 2016. Locher comes to Maryville after two years as an athletic trainer at fellow Great Lakes Valley Conference school Truman State. She joined the Bulldogs in 2014 and was the insurance coordinator for all of Truman’s sports teams. Locher oversaw primary coverage of the men’s basketball, cross country, and track and field teams. She also assisted with the football team.
Locher spent two years as a graduate assistant with GLVC program Drury University. She was the athletic trainer for the Panther softball team and worked with baseball, women’s basketball, men’s and women’s swimming, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s tennis and volleyball.
A native of Pittsburgh, Locher earned her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford in 2012. She earned a master’s degree in athletic training from Missouri State University in May 2014.
