Biography

2017:
  • Played and started in all 19 games for the Saints and played every minute of the season in goal
  • Set a single season record with 10 shut outs on the year while giving up 12 goals for a 0.60 GAA 
  • Made 58 saves on the year for a .829 save percentage
  • Earned the GLVC Defensive Player of the Week award twice on the year (10/10/17 and 10/25/17)
  • Was named to the All-GLVC second-team 


2016:
  • Started in all 19 matches and played every minute his sophmore year
  • Was named GLVC Defensive player of the week for the week ending 10/10/16
  • Was named to the All- GLVC third team
  • Aided in five shut outs on the year
  • Finished the season with a 1.42 goals against average.

2015:
  • Started in all 18 games between the pipes
  • Was named GLVC Defensive player of the week on two occasions
  • Named GLVC Freshman of the year, becoming the first Saint Men’s Soccer player to win a major GLVC postseason award
  • Named to the GLVC all-Conference 2nd team
  • Aided in seven shut-outs during the season.
 
Prior to Maryville: 
  • Played for Kalmar FF soccer club in Sweden.
  • He joins the University after competing at the highest level of Swedish youth soccer.
  • As part of the U-19 squad Kjaersgaard helped his team to the Swedish Cup Final and the Swedish Championship semi-final.
