Sean Clancy

Sean Clancy joined the Maryville soccer coaching staff before the 2019 season. He currently handles the goalkeepers, scouting, and travel duties for the team.
 
In his four seasons, the Saints have won a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament Championships while making the NCAA Tournament in every possible year. In 2022, the team won the first GLVC Regular Season Championship in program history. 
 
Clancy spent the 2018 season as a goalkeeper of Vrigstad IF in Sweden, which is a Division IV team in the club ranks. Prior to his stop overseas, he played a year at both the University of Missouri-Kansas City and at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Clancy earned his degree in chemistry from UMKC while playing overseas last season.
 
Clancy played his high school soccer at Rockwood Summit High School, where he graduated in 2013. He is currently an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach at his alma mater.
