Maryville University Athletics

Sheridan Smith joins the Maryville men’s soccer staff as a volunteer assistant coach. He played the spring 2021 season for the Saints and saw action in 15 games. Smith appeared in the starting 11 in six contests and tallied an assist against Southern Indiana. He began his college career at Division I Northern Illinois. Smith was a standout at Webster Groves High School and led the Statesmen to a pair of Missouri State Championships. He was the school’s all-time leading scorer with 66 goals and was the St. Louis Metro Area Player of the Year as a senior.
