High School:
Was one of the area's top players and completed a standout high school career at Edwardsville High School. During his time with the Tigers, the forward earned All-State and All-Midwest honors in 2014 and was a three-time All-Conference selection. He was a major force in a team that was Illinois Class 3A Conference Champions in 2011, 2013 and 2014, Regional Champions in 2011, 2012 and 2013, Sectional Champions in 2012 and 2013 and Super-Sectional Champions in 2013. Paul leaves the tradition-laden Edwardsville program as the No. 2 all-time leading scorer as well as in assists. He was honored as one of Top Drawer Soccer "Players to Watch" in 2014, the Alton Telegraph's Soccer Player of the Year and first-team All-Area by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. As a senior, Paul scored 19 goals and added 17 assists to finish with 55 points and was selected to play in the prestigious High School All-American Soccer Game.
