Biography

High School: Shields was a first-team All-Conference selection as a senior and was voted her team's best Offensive Player. She averaged 12.5 ppg and 7.1 rpg while shooting 50.9 percent from the field. She also registered 44 assists and 41 steals. As a junior, she was an All-Conference second team honoree. Shields was a member of the National Honor Society and on the High Honor Roll all four years.
