High School: Buxton was named All-State, All-Region, All-District, All-Conference and All-Southeast Missourian Awards. She set a school record with 2,001 career assists, helped her team to 22 wins as a senior and were undefeated at home. In her final season, she recorded 745 assists along with 40 aces. Buxton set the school record for assists in a season as a junior with 873.
