2016: Had an immediate impact on the team and led the squad with 314 kills … amassed 34 blocks … added 209 digs … reached double figures in kills in 16 contests … recorded five double-doubles during the year … mashed at a .586 clip against Davis & Elkins … had a season-best 17 digs on two occasions … hit at least .333 in five matches … Academic All-GLVC selection.
 
High School: Lakin was one of the St. Louis area's top offensive threats. As a senior, she averaged 6.13 kills a set to rank second in the metro area. Lakin was named to the 2015 Missouri High School All-State Class 4. She helped team to 27-6-3 record and also had 279 digs and 37 blocks.
