2013: His first season will go down as one of the best freshman years at Maryville … on the mound, led the team in innings pitched with 61 while earning four victories and finishing the season with a 4.43 ERA … with the bat he hit .246 with eight RBI, while fielding 1.000 at first base … was selected GLVC Pitcher of the Week April 8, 2013 … became Maryville Freshman record holder with games started as a pitcher and innings pitched in 2013.
VonBehren on Omlid:Om is special for us in terms of what he can do. He is very athletic and can play all three outfield spots as well as first base, but also is so valuable on the mound. Offensively he has gotten stronger and shown the ability to drive the ball and on the mound he has the stuff to shut teams down.
