Hana McGinis. The ball was lofted in and Foley redirected the ball just inside the far post. The Saints held the lead until Ashley Burton, who is tied for fourth in the conference in goals per game, scored in the 29th minute to pull the Hawks even.
The game moved to halftime tied at 1-1 before the game-winning sequence in the 53rd minute of play. Saints keeper
Mandy Browning made the initial save, but Burton collected the rebound in close and tapped the ball in for the game winner as the Hawks improved to 12-2-1, 10-2 in the league.
The Saints slip to 3-9-4 overall, 2-7-4 in the GLVC. Maryville hosts its final home game of the season Sunday when Illinois Springfield comes to town for a Noon start.
