The Maryville volleyball team closes out the 2012 season with two home contests this week. The Saints host Rockhurst Friday, Nov. 9, for a 6 p.m. match. Senior Day is Saturday, Nov. 10, as William Jewell comes to town for a 7:30 p.m. match. Seniors

Jamie Kloss will be recognized prior to the game.

Mikaela Lahm leads the Saints (4-25, 2-14 GLVC) with 255 kills and 73 blocks.
Hana Michael ranks second on the squad and has gone over the 200-kills plateau with 216, along with a team-high 306 digs.
Laura Welling is third on the squad in kills with 156.
Taryn Trubich has distributed 538 assists for the season.
Jamie Kloss is second on the team with 277 digs, and
Hannah Seitter has 243.

ABOUT ROCKHURST:
The Hawks are in second place in the West Division and is 23-6 overall, 12-4 in the conference. Katie Loescher leads four Hawks with at least 200 kills and has 317 kills on the season, and Kelsey Stratman has 274 kills and a team-high 135 blocks. Whitney Kostal has 1105 assists thus far. The Hawks lead the GLVC in blocks per set at 2.61. Rockhurst is holding its opponents to a .138 hitting percentage.
ABOUT WILLIAM JEWELL:
The Cardinals are battling for a spot in the GLVC Tournament and are 12-16 overall, 6-10 in the league. Hannah Herndon leads the team with 304 kills to go along with 28 aces. Cailynn Hayter has distributed 792 assists to lead the offense, and Katie Damgar has 520 digs to lead the league. Christina Pratt leads the team with 90 blocks. William Jewell ranks third in the league in digs at 17.06 per set.
LAST WEEK:
The Saints made runs in all three sets but fell short at Missouri-St. Louis Wednesday. After dropping the first two sets, Maryville rallied to force a fifth set before Illinois Springfield won the final set Friday evening. The Saints extended Quincy to a fourth set until the Hawks closed out the contest Saturday afternoon.
