Maryville-Lewis boxscore

The Maryville baseball team closed out its three-game swing in Florida with a 6-0 loss to Lewis in a non-conference contest. The Saints had early scoring chances but let them slip away before the Flyers slowly built their advantage.

Nick Little started the game off with a leadoff single and moved into scoring position after a sac bunt by Bryce Bastien. However, the Saints were unable to grab the early lead. Colby White reached third base but was also stranded there. The Flyers took the lead with a single run in the second, and they tacked on two scores apiece in the fourth.

The Saints had two more scoring opportunities late in the game, but Lewis kept Maryville off the scoreboard as the Saints could only manage four hits on the team.
