The Maryville women's basketball team put four players in double figures while holding every Fontbonne player to single digits en route to a 93-39 victory Sunday afternoon at Moloney Arena.
Rita Flynn hit 6-of-7 shots and finished with 14 points to lead the Maryville efforts.

The Saints held a 19-15 edge and scored seven straight points.
Samantha Robison hit a 3-pointer, and
JoAnn Thompson added a bucket. Flynn's layup gave Maryville its first double-digit lead at 26-15. The Saints were still leading 32-23 with six minutes left to play but closed the first half with a 15-3 run.
Jordynn Martin sank two free throws, and
Alex Hillyer followed with two more from the stripe. Fontbonne hit one free throw before Martin drained a jumper. The Griffins converted two from the free-throw line but the Saints then scored the final nine points of the half. Thompson made a jumper, and
Shelby Miller scored on a driving layup.
Alex Wolf finished a three-point play, and two Miller free throws were good for a 47-26 lead at the break.

The Saints started the second half on a 16-3 run to put the game away. Miller hit back-to-back baskets to start the second 20 minutes, and Flynn added a jumper in the middle of the lane. Fontbonne finally scored its first bucket of the half, but Martin nailed a 3-pointer, and Flynn and Robison added two baskets.
Hayley Maystead's 3-pointer at the 13:28 mark pushed the Saints to a 63-28 lead, and Maryville cruised to its second straight victory.

Robison added 13 points, Miller finished with 11, and Martin chipped in 10 points for the Saints. Hillyer led the effort on the glass with eight rebounds, while Wolf finished with seven boards. Maryville committed just seven turnovers and forced Fontbonne into 24 miscues. DeAmbra Pilkinton was Fontbonne's leading scorer with seven points.

The Saints (2-0) take to the road for two games next week as they head to Malone and Walsh for back-to-back games Nov. 15 and 16.
