The Maryville women's basketball team had four student-athletes selected to the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Earning the recognition this season are
Gracie Gopalan,
Olivia Hahn,
Annika Pluemer and
Lindsey Schadewalt.

The Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team is selected by College Sports Communicators and recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Schadewalt will appear on the national ballot, with first-, second- and third-team Academic All-Americans announced April 15, 2026.

The four standouts helped the Saints win the 2026 Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament and earn the program's second NCAA Tournament bid. Maryville finished the season with a school record 25 victories this past season.

Gopalan was a second-team All-GLVC selection and also named to the All-Newcomer team. She led the team with 100 assists while averaging 7.3 points and 3.3 rebounds. Gopalan shot .857 from the stripe. Hahn averaged 4.8 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. She finished with 41 assists and 24 steals on the season.

Pluemer started all 32 games and finished with averages of 5.8 points and 3.1 rebounds. She contributed 49 assists and had a team-high 59 steals. Pluemer led the team with a .884 free-throw percentage.

Schadewalt was a first-team All-GLVC selection and led the team in scoring at 14.4 ppg. She averaged 3.6 rebounds and had 46 assists with 21 steals. She ranked sixth in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage at .426 and shot .833 at the free-throw line.
