Boosted by two early pins, the Maryville wrestling squad cruised to a 25-13 victory over visiting McKendree at Moloney Arena. The win is the fourth straight for the Saints who now prepare for the NCAA Regionals in Waterloo, Iowa.
 
At 125, Brandon Oshiro recorded a quick fall at the 1:57 mark to give the Saints the early lead. After the Bearcats registered a major decision, Tyrell Galloway notched an even quicker pin at 1:35 to win the 141-pound bout. Keenan Hagerty continued the roll for Maryville at 149 with a 14-4 major decision to boost the Saints to a 16-4 lead. Joey Moorhouse took the 157 match with an easy 6-1 win as Maryville led 19-4 at the midpoint of the contest.

After McKendree won the 165-pound match, Dimitri Willis posted an exciting 2-1 win at 174. The Bearcats won two of the final three matches of the evening, but Matt Baker ran his record to 27-1 with a 3-2 win at 197 to clinch the victory for Maryville.
