Alex Brown scored for the Maryville men's soccer squad at Indianapolis but the Greyhounds used two late first-half scores to pull away. The host Hounds settled for a 6-2 win over the Saints.

Indianapolis jumped ahead with a goal in the eighth minute before the Saints drew level. In the 17th minute, the Saints earned a long free kick to set up the score.
Lance Kohler crossed the ball in and Clawson headed the ball into the net to deadlock the game at 1-1. The Greyhounds answered with a score less than two minutes later to retake the lead. Indianapolis then took charge with two goals in the waning minutes of the half as the hosts scored within a 73 second span.

After UIndy scored to open the second half, the Saints pulled one goal back in the 77th minute when Brown placed a perfect shot into the corner of the Greyhounds goal. However, the Saints were unable to trim the gap any further as the Greyhounds improved to 8-4-2 overall, 8-3-1 in the GLVC.

The Saints slip to 4-7-4 overall, 3-7-1in the GLVC. Maryville stays on the road in its next action Friday as the Saints head to Quincy Friday.
