St. Louis - The Maryville volleyball team was looking for its second straight victory but Great Lakes Valley Conference West Division leader Truman State stayed unbeaten in league play with a 3-0 win over the Saints. Set scores were 25-18, 25-11, 25-12.

Laura Welling topped the Saints with eight kills.
Ali Lampen posted a match-high 18 digs, while
Hana Michael chipped in five kills and 10 digs. The Saints struggled to a .038 hitting percentage, their lowest mark of the season. Truman State recorded a .324 team hitting mark, the best by a Maryville opponent this year. Allie Brak led TSU (10-2 overall, 6-0 GLVC) with 12 kills while hitting .323.

The Saints stand at 6-6 overall, 2-4 in the conference. Maryville continues its five-match home stand Tuesday night as it hosts city-rival UMSL for a 7 p.m. match.
