Playing in its third straight double-overtime contest, the Maryville's women's soccer team settled for a scoreless draw at William Jewell as neither team dented the back of the net after 110 minutes. The Saints also went to two OTs against Rockhurst and Drury.

Katy Rood nearly put the Saints ahead in the first minute but her shot was saved by Cardinals' keeper Jordan Lewis. WJC had its first shot on goal about 20 minutes in as Maryville goalie
Bailey Doerflinger steered the ball clear, and she was tested again a few minutes later as halftime arrived at 0-0.

Neither team generated much offense in the second half but each team had a shot on goal late.
Shannon Foley tried to win it for the Saints in the 82nd minute but was stopped. Ninety minutes elapsed with no goal as the Saints played yet another OT game.

Amanda Wiechens nearly potted her seventh goal of the season before her attempt was saved. Doerflinger preserved the game with her game in the final minute of the first OT. WJC had the first scoring chance early in the second overtime but Doerflinger again stood her ground to preserve the clean sheet.
Hana McGinis and Rood put attempts on goal as the final minutes expired. Doerflinger finished with five saves on the day.

The Saints are now 5-4-3 overall, 4-3-3 in the GLVC. William Jewell moves its mark to 4-6-3, 2-6-2 in the league. Maryville stays on the road for two more contests next weekend starting with a tilt at Illinois Springfield Friday.
