No. 22 Rockhurst scored within the first minute and added a second tally midway through the second half to hand Maryville a 2-0 defeat Friday night in Kansas City, Mo. The Saints were aiming for their third straight road victory but saw their two-game away run come to an end.
 
On the first shot of the game, Kaleb Jackson scored what would be the game winner. Erik Schafer's header nearly pulled the Saints level but his scot was saved. In the second half, Henry Wynd had two strong chances but his attempts were also turned aside. After a late push for the equalizer, the Hawks countered and put the game away with a score in the 72nd minute.
 
The Saints drop to 5-6-1 overall, 3-5-1 in the GLVC. The Hawks up their slate to 7-1-2 overall, 7-1-1 in the league. Maryville plays at William Jewell Sunday afternoon.
