Despite a team-high eight kills from
Zoe Zeiter the Maryville volleyball team was narrowly edged in all three sets as Quincy beat the Saints 25-23, 25-23, 25-22. Her eight kills were the most in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match this season for the freshman.

Laura Welling finished with seven kills, while
Ashley Selman chipped in five kills.
Ali Lampen dug up a match-high 25 digs, while
Hana Michael added 14 digs.
Kelsey Warden contributed 13 digs. Â Taylor McMonagle led Quincy with nine kills as the Saints held their second straight opponent without a double-digit kill total.

The Saints slip to 6-11 overall, 1-7 in the league. Quincy evens its record at 9-9 overall, 4-4 in the GLVC. The Saints play at Truman State Saturday night.
