The Maryville men's soccer team battled Indianapolis for 110 minutes but neither team found the back of the net as the contest ended in a scoreless draw.

The Greyhounds carried the early play and had four shots in the first half, including one by Jacob Meyer that hit the cross bar in the 15th minute. Maryville keeper
Christian Kjaersgaard had to make two saves to keep the game scoreless. UIndy's Leo Cunningham hit a hard shot that was heading towards the left corner but Kjaersgaard made his best save of the day and tipped the ball over the goal.
Kevin Doherty had Maryville's best scoring chance in the second half but UIndy goalie Christopher Jones came up with the save as the game moved to overtime.

Doherty again had a shot at the game winner but was denied. The Greyhounds had two good scoring chances late in the first overtime but both attempts were blocked. Maryville had one scoring chance in the final frame but the game ended in the 0-0 draw.

With the tie, the Saints see their record stand at 2-3-1, 0-2-1 in the GLVC. The Greyhounds are now 1-2-2 overall, 0-1-2. The Saints return to the pitch Sunday as they host Saint Joseph's College in a 2:30 pm start.
