Saints Sweep Saint Joseph's in Volleyball Action

Maddie Timmermann and Ashley Selman led the Maryville volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep over Saint Joseph's Saturday afternoon in Rensselaer, Ind. The duo both recorded nine kills apiece as the Saints posted the 25-21, 25-20, 25-22 victory.
 
Timmermann finished with nine kills while hitting .500, while Selman also had nine kills to go with a .368 hitting percentage. Ali Lampen paced the Saints with 14 digs, while Hana Michael had five kills, 12 digs and three blocks.
 
The Saints improve to 5-5 overall, 1-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Pumas fall to 4-4, 0-2. Maryville is next in action when it hosts Friday, Sept. 25.
