Ryan Beltz recorded an 18-4 major to pace the No. 4 Maryville wrestling team to a 26-12 win over Fort Hays State Sunday afternoon at Moloney Arena.

The match started at 165, and
Dimitri Willis won the opener 10-4 to give the Saints the early lead.
Travis Lang followed with an 11-6 win for a quick 6-0 team score advantage. Fort Hays State's Jon Inman, who is ranked No. 6 nationally, notched a fall at 184 to even the score, but Beltz notched his 18-4 major at the 197 classification to push the Saints back ahead 10-6.
Donnell Walker closed out his heavyweight match 9-3 as the Saints took a 13-6 lead at intermission.

FHSU pulled closer as it won the 125 bout. Bauer jumped out to a huge 14-0 lead in his 133 tilt after one period and cruised to an 18-1 tech fall to push the Saints ahead 18-9. The visitors won the 141 match but
James Krischke notched a 16-8 major to clinch the win for the Saints.
Greg Hegarty ended the match as he won his 157 contest with Maryville's third major decision of the day by a 10-2 count.

The Saints are no 3-3 in dual matches. Maryville is back in action at the Missouri Valley College Open Feb. 7.
