2016 GLVC Men's Cross Country Championship results

Rolla, Mo. - The Maryville men's cross country team made the short trip to Rolla, Mo., for the 2016 Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship Saturday. The Saints finished 12th in the team standings as freshman Dylan Deardurff was the first Maryville runner to finish the 8K course.
 
Deardurff clocked a time of 27:26.60 to top the Saints and was 78th overall. Kyle O'Farrell finished in 27:56.82 to place 100th in the field. Tyler Henson was just behind at 27:59.94, while Ethan Duclos finished in 28:06.04. RJ Brown came home at 28:15.89, while Brock Kasten completed the course in 28:20.85. Chase Bland and Alex Elam finished back-to-back in 28:31.00 and 28:35.25, respectively.
 
The Saints recorded 345 team points. Southern Indiana won the team competition with a score of 28, while Bellarmine's Chris Striegel was the race winner in 24:02.23.
