2016 Principia Cowbell Classic results

Djurre Hoeksema was Maryville's top finisher Principia College Cowbell Classic race Saturday in Elsah, Ill., as the Saints finished in sixth place in the team standings.
 
Hoeksema covered the 8K distance in 26:56.32, good for 18th overall in the field. Next across the finish for Maryville was RJ Brown who was 38th in 27:53.3. Ethan Duclos was third for the Saints in 28:04.0. Alex Elam finished in 51stst at 28:16.0, while Dylan Deardurff was Maryville's fifth runner with a time of 28:28.7. Kyle O'Farrell finished in 28:40.5, and Chase Bland clocked a 29:07.1.
 
The Saints finished with 182 team points, just behind host Principia for fifth place. Lindenwood took the team title with 44 points.
