St. Charles, Mo. - In its first home games of the season at the Maryville Classic, the Saints baseball team saw the offense held to just five hits as Winona State recorded a 5-0 victory in games played at the Lou Brock Complex in St. Charles, Mo.
Â
The Warriors had a double and single for all the offense they would need in the top of the first for a 1-0 lead.
Yoonjae Nam walked and stole second but was stranded there to end the bottom of the first. Another double and single sequence in the second grew the WSU lead to two runs in the second inning. The Warriors tacked on a single run in the fourth with an RBI ground out.
