Jordyne Dugger scored late in the fourth quarter to over the extra session but the Vikings outscored the Saints 11-8 in OT. The defeat spoiled a 25-point performance by
Ali Ringering, one off her career high.
Brooklyn Chaffin provided a spark off the bench with 12 points on four 3-pointers.

What Happened
The Saints held the lead for most of the second half and surged to their largest lead in the fourth at 66-58. Missouri Valley made a charge and eventually tied the game with an 8-0 run. MVC went up 70-68 before Dugger's turnaround jumper in the lane tied the game at 70-70 with just over a minute left in regulation. The Saints had forced an MVC turnover and had three shots in the waning seconds but could not convert the potential game winner as the game moved into overtime.

The visitors took a 76-72 edge but a 3-pointer by Ringering pulled the Saints to within one, and she later hit two free throws for a 78-77 advantage. The game was tied at 79-79 before Missouri Valley's Leba Korovou scored with 20 seconds left for the go-ahead points. The Saints had two shots in the final seconds but both misfired.
