What Happened
Maryville held a narrow lead for most of the first half and the score was tied at 37-37 with four minutes remaining. Jones scored inside, and Dezmond McDaniel sank a jumper. Walsh hit a 3-pointer but McDaniel answered with a layup. After a Jordan Gary free throw, Teson drilled a 3-pointer to give the Saints a 47-40 lead at halftime.

The Saint were still leading 54-51 before taking control by scoring 16 straight. McDaniel started the burst with a jumper, and Teson and Glotta both added buckets. Hoops by Jerome Davis and Teson took the edge to 64-51. Back-to-back triples by Jones and Teson gave Maryville a 70-51 cushion. The Cavaliers finally scored after nearly five minutes of standout defense by the Saints. A Glotta jumper pushed the Saints up by 20, and his 3-pointer built the largest margin of the game at 84-61 with 4:34 left.
