Chaz Glotta poured in 26 points and
Casey Teson added 22 to lead the Maryville men's basketball team to a 90-75 victory over Missouri Western in the second game at the UMSL Thanksgiving Classic. The Saints shot 60.8 percent (31-of-51) for the game, including hitting 14-of-21 shots in the second half.

What Happened
The Saints were down 26-25 before
Jordan Gary scored to push the Saints ahead. Glotta scored on a layup, the first of 16 straight points by the Maryville guard. He then drilled a long 3-pointer from the top of the key, and followed with another triple from the wing. Glotta drove in for a hoop to stake the Saints to a 37-26 lead. Missouri Western hit consecutive 3-pointers around another Glotta 3-pointer. He closed his burst with the fourth 3-pointer of the spree for a 43-32 edge at halftime.

Missouri Western cut the Maryville lead down to 45-36 until the Saints went on an 8-0 run.
Robin Thompson scored in traffic, before
Jordan Gary tallied back-to-back buckets. Teson drained consecutive jumpers for a 55-37 advantage, Maryville's largest lead of the game, four minutes into the second half. The Griffons chipped away at the deficit and got as close as eight points but Thompson had a three-point play to restore a double-digit lead.
Bobby Harvey hit a 3-pointer at the 3:19 mark, and the Saints took a 15-point lead and cruised to the win.
