What Happened
The Eagles took their biggest lead of the game at 57-45 with 11:05 remaining before the Saints rallied.
Robin Thompson had a three point-play and another layup to start the rally.
Dezmond McDaniel sank two free throws to pull the Saints to 57-52. With 3:25 to play, Teson sank a jumper to get Maryville to 67-62. He had a three-point play as the Saints were down by only two points. Avila made one free throw for a 68-65 lead with one minute to play but
Chaz Glotta hit a long 3-pointer to tie the game 68-68 with 51 seconds remaining. The Maryville defense forced a miss, and Teson sank the jumper to give the Saints a 70-68 lead before the late free throws by Avila to win the game.

The loss spoiled the 27-point outing by Teson, the second-best scoring game of the season. Glotta added 12 points, while Thompson contributed 10.
