Jerome Davis tallied his first career double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds as the Maryville men's basketball team cruised to a 106-47 win over Lindenwood-Belleville. The Saints hit their first 10 shots of the game and finished with a 62.9 percent field goal percentage (39-of-62). The 106 points scored are the fifth most in school history. Maryville did not miss a shot over the first eight minutes and 13 seconds of the game.

What Happened
Davis scored a layup, and
Casey Teson drilled a 3-pointer as the Saints grabbed a quick 5-0 lead. After the Lynx scored,
Chaz Glotta sank a triple, and Teson added a jumper. The Saints went on a 9-0 burst to build a double-digit advantage at 19-4. The Saints were still holding a 27-14 lead but embarked on a 26-0 run. Glotta hit a 3-pointer at the 11:10 mark to start the run, and Teson closed the burst with a trey at the 4:05 mark. During that span, the Saints hit 10-of-16 shots while forcing the Lynx to miss 12 straight field goal attempts. LUB finally scored a basket at the 3:37 mark. The Saints took a 63-22 lead into the break after hitting 26-of-33 shots for a 78.8 shooting percentage.

The Saints kept the Lynx from making a big run and steadily added to the lead in the second half. Maryville pushed the advantage to as much as 102-38 with five minutes to play.
Casey Teson led five Saints in double figures with 25 points and set a career high with eight assists.
