Summary
Ellen Foster recorded her first career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds but No. 8 Drury prevailed over the Maryville women's basketball team 72-48. Foster took advantage of her trips to the free-throw line and sank nine at the stripe to pace the Saints.

What Happened
Kayla Steward hit a 3-pointer as the Saints took an early 3-2 lead but Drury scored seven straight to take the advantage. Maryville cut into a 13-point deficit as
Adrienne Horn scored on a layup, and Foster added two free throws. Another free throw by Horn pulled the Saints to 17-9.
Amanda Ponce converted a layup, and four straight free throws by Foster cut the Drury lead down to 23-17 with four minutes left in the half. Steward scored in the final minute as the Saints trailed 29-19 at the break.

However, the Lady Panthers outscored the Saints 9-2 to open the third quarter to build a steady lead. The Saints were unable to mount a charge in the fourth quarter as Drury won its sixth straight game to clinch the GLVC West Division title.
