Summary
Ali Ringering paced four Maryville women's basketball players in double figures with 13 points but McKendree pushed past the Saints 67-56 Saturday afternoon in Moloney Arena.
Ellen Foster notched her second straight double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

What Happened
Adrienne Horn sank two free throws to build a 7-4 edge for the Saints. However, the Bearcats tallied 11 straight points to take the lead. Ringering hit a jumper to end the McKendree run. Horn scored a hoop inside, and a 3-pointer by
Mary Barton pulled the Saints to 15-14. Early in the second, Ringering hit a layup as Maryville was still only down 25-22. However, the Bearcats went into halftime on a 9-2 run to grab a 34-24 edge.

The Saints looked to trim the margin back down to single digits but McKendree scored the first eight points out of the break. Foster got the Saints on track and eventually only trailed 51-41 heading into the final quarter.

Foster had a three-point play as the Saints drew to 51-43 with 8:13 left in the game. The deficit was still only seven on a Kayla Steward jumper. McKendree rebuilt a 59-46 lead until Barton and Ringering scored to get the Saints to 59-50 with 1:54 remaining. However, the Saints were not able to get any closer as the Bearcats held on for the victory.
