Lacrosse Wins Second Straight with 13-3 Victory over Union

Summary
The Maryville men's lacrosse won its second straight game with a 13-3 decision over Union on a freezing cold Sunday afternoon. The Saints fired in the first nine goals of the game to cruise to the triumph. Tristan Snellgrove tallied four goals and two assists, while Justin Amling added two goals and two assists.
                                                                         
What Happened
Zach Steltzer recorded the first goal of the game at the 12:13 mark. The Maryville lead remained at 1-0 until the Saints scored three times late in the first quarter. Ty Wenck scored his first of the season with 2:07 left in the opener. Snellgrove twice found the back of the net in the final 72 seconds to build a 4-0 edge.
 
The Saints picked up goals from Christopher Garcia and Parker Lee early in the second. Brendan Cathers tacked on a goal, and Amling scored his first for an 8-0 advantage. Jack Kilibarda added a man-up goal for the 9-0 lead until the Bulldogs finally got on the scoreboard.
 
Union scored twice to open the third quarter but the Saints picked up goals by Kilibarda and Snellgrove to restore an 11-3 lead. The Saints put the game away early in the fourth with scored by Amling and Snellgrove.
