What Happened
Lewis led 26-23 midway through the second quarter but the Saints scored seven straight points to take the lead. Steward sank a jumper, and
Amanda Ponce followed with a three-point play. Steward knocked down a jumper as the Saints grabbed a 30-26 edge. The Saints was tied late before Chaffin drilled a triple to give Maryville a 35-32 lead at halftime.

The Saints were still up 37-35 early in the third before the Flyers went on a 13-0 run. Chaffin knocked down a 3-pointer, and Steward followed with a bucket to draw the Saints to 48-42. Steward hit a long 3-pointer at the buzzer as the Saints cut the deficit down to 56-52 heading to the fourth.

Adrienne Horn went on a personal 6-0 run and Barton sank a 3-pointer as the Saints went back up 61-58 at the 5:56 mark. However, Lewis scored six straight points to retake the lead. The Saints got as close as 66-63 with 3:29 to play on a Ponce jumper but were unable to tie the game.
