Summary
The Maryville men's lacrosse team had its two-game winning streak come to an end 13-5 at Lake Erie College Friday in Painesville, Ohio. The Saints had taken their last two outings at home before the 12th-ranked Storm ended the Maryville run.
 
What Happened
The Saints defense stood strong in the first quarter before Christopher Garcia fired in the game's first goal. Maryville held the 1-0 lead until 1:54 left before Lake Erie tied the game. The Storm tacked on two scores in the final minute for a 3-1 edge. LEC was up 4-1 before Tristan Snellgrove pulled one back with his 22nd tally of the season. Lake Erie scored but Owen Kehoe fired in a shot to trim the Maryville deficit to 5-3 by halftime. Kehoe scored in his second straight game.
 
LEC pushed its advantage to 10-3 in the third quarter before Parker Lee found the back of the net twice to pull the Saints back to within 10-5. However, the Storm closed out the game by blanking the Saints for the final 11 minutes.
