Saints Lose Final GLVC Lacrosse Contest at Indianapolis

Summary
The Maryville men's lacrosse team scored the first goal of the game but host Indianapolis answered with four scores to take the Great Lakes Valley Conference finale 15-4.
 
What Happened
Jai Benson fired in the game's first score just 2:45 into the contest as Maryville grabbed the early lead. However, the Greyhounds drew level at the 11:02 mark and went up 4-1. Jordan Shumate recorded his second goal of the season to pull the Saints to 4-2. Tristan Snellgrove answered a UIndy score with his 23rd goal of the season as Maryville kept the margin at 5-3. UIndy scored the final four goals of the half to grab the momentum.
 
Snellgrove scored the next  goal for the Saints to trim the deficit to 12-4 but the Greyhounds did not allow Maryville to close the gap.
