Summary
In its final regular-season game, the Maryville men's lacrosse saw Lindenwood use a big second half to down the Saints. Playing in St. Charles, Mo., the Saints scored three straight goals to trim the Lindenwood lead to 8-4 but the Lions tallied the final nine goals of the game for the 17-4 win.
Tristan Snellgrove set the single-season goal scoring record as he fired in his 26th goal of the season to surpass the previous mark of 25.

What Happened
After the Lions scored the first two goals,
Parker Lee struck for the Saints to cut the lead in half. Lindenwood stretched the edge to 8-1 at halftime. The Saints started the second half with a rush and scored three unanswered goals. Snellgrove fired in a shot in the first minute of the third quarter. Lee tallied his 20th goal of the season at the 8:36 mark. On a man-up opportunity, Snellgrove broke the record with his second of the contest to pull the Saints to 8-4 with 7:47 left in the third. However, the Lions steadied themselves with the last four goals of the period to clinch the game.
