St. Louis – After a scoreless opening half of play, the Maryville University women's soccer netted a pair of goals in the final half to open the 2018 exhibition season with a 2-0 victory over Missouri Baptist Saturday morning at Spartan Field.
How it Happened - Amanda Kaltwasser opened the scoring in the mid-way through the second half with an unassisted goal to stake the Saints to a 1-0 lead.
Claudia King added an insurance goal late in the match as she took a pass from
Erika Cross and found the back of the net to give Maryville a 2-0 win.
