What Happened
The Maryville women's volleyball team ended the Christian Brothers Invitational Tournament in thrilling fashion. Paced by
Cassidy Arndt's double-double, the Saints rallied for a taut 3-2 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan. Maryville prevailed 26-24, 6-25, 24-26, 29-27, 15-10 for its second victory of the season. Earlier Saturday, Pittsburg State downed the Saints in three sets. Scores were 25-17, 25-14, 25-11.

KWC Recap
The Saints were down 2-1 but pulled out a 29-27 win in the fourth set to force the decisive game. In the fifth, Maryville was down 6-4 but tied it after a kill by
Taylor Schellert and a KWC hitting error. Schellert and
Mikaela Kues teamed for a block and a 7-6 edge. The Saints stretched the lead to 10-6 to seize control. KWC closed to 13-10 but an error by the Panthers pushed Maryville to match point. After a scramble, Arndt snapped in a kill to win the contest.
