The Maryville volleyball team set a school record with 25 service aces en route to a 25-11, 25-7, 25-6 victory over Bluefield State. The match was the first of a tournament hosted by Kentucky Wesleyan.

What Happened
The Saints held Bluefield State without a kill in set one and a -.417 hitting percentage to claim the opening set. Maryville mashed at a .556 clip in the second set to take control. In the final set, the Saints surpassed that effort with seven kills to just one error on 10 swings. The Saints recorded their second highest hitting percentage in a match in program history with a .412 mark.
