Truman recap

TSU won by set scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-19. Arndt finished with 10 kills, the third time she has reached double digit kills this season.

What Happened
Arndt opened the match with a kill before Truman State jumped ahead. Faith Ahlhardt recorded back-to-back kills for the Saints. Maryville had its best run of play with five of six points in a span. Arndt notched three kills in the burst and helped the Saints close their gap to six. In set two, Liz Eardly and Ahlhardt had a combo block, and Allison Lakin's kill provided a 2-0 lead. Another Lakin kill and an ace by Eardly provided a 4-1 edge. Maryville was still leading 8-7 after a Taylor Schellert kill before TSU retook the edge and pushed the margin out. The Saints again took the early lead in set three. Arndt had a kill, followed by blocks from Lakin and Kayla Nystedt, and Ahldhardt and Nystedt for a 4-1 cushion.
